Funder Coffee Break:
Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation: Insights & Initiatives
Friday, September 21, 2018

Established in the 1960s by the late entrepreneur and philanthropist Ewing Marion Kauffman, the Kauffman Foundation works together with communities around the country to create opportunities and connect people to the tools they need to shape their futures and be successful.

Among the largest private foundations in our nation, with approximately $2 billion in assets and $100 million in annual grantmaking and program operations, the Kauffman Foundation strives to help individuals attain economic independence by advancing educational achievement and entrepreneurial success.

Join the Gateway Center for Giving for a casual conversation over coffee with John Tyler, General Counsel, Secretary, and Chief Ethics Officer for the Kauffman Foundation. With many years of experience in foundation programming, administration, and investments, John will share philanthropic sector insights and provide an update on some of the Kauffman Foundation's initiatives.
